Desert Willow
Exceptional southern California golf courses are just the beginning. Guests are treated to an incredible southern California golf courses experience with a magnificent clubhouse, personalized service, and spectacular views. Desert Willow has emerged as the favorite southern California golf courses to play for many. In fact, Golf Digest named the Firecliff course, one of Desert Willow's southern California golf courses, one of the "Places To Play." This tournament tested layout is one of only three courses in California and one of the best 50 in the United States to receive this distinction in terms of conditioning. Firecliff, measuring 7,056 yards, is a true test of skill where golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, over 100 bunkers, and numerous water features. One of the more resort type southern California golf courses is Mountain View with wider fairways and limited desert waste areas. But don't be deceived, Mountain View, measuring 6,913 yards is rated just slightly less difficult than Firecliff. With more forgiving fairways, 98 well-placed bunkers, sloping greens, and seven water features, Mountain View still requires the best from golfers of all levels.
La Quinta Country Club
This course's well-maintained greens are undulating, and its narrow fairways are tree lined. Hole #18, a 396-yard, par 4, features a lake with a waterfall on the left side, making this is a beautiful finishing hole. Hole #7, a 174-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over water to an elevated green protected by a sand bunker. This is one of the rotating courses for the PGA Tour's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
The Hideaway
The courses' gently rolling fairways are lined by water and sand, or punctuated by waterfalls and bunkers, leading to beautifully manicured greens. Each hole is unique and memorable, the type you'll want to replay shot-by-shot on the 19th hole or at dinner that night. The Club features two distinct and dramatic, par 72, 18 hole courses, designed by famed British architect Clive Clark and the legendary Pete Dye. Both the Clark and Dye are meticulously landscaped and maintained, with extensive use of wildflowers, waterfalls, lakes and streams to create playable, yet visually dramatic courses. The Clive Clark plays to nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees and to 5,200 yards from the forward tees, while the the Pete Dye plays to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees and to 5,100 yards from the forward tees.
